A Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper holds a rifle near the scene where a man was reportedly firing guns in random directions Wednesday afternoon on Spaulding Street. A man was arrested Wednesday after firing multiple guns at his home in north Sheridan. The man, identified as Adam Heldik, presents no threat to the public, Sheridan Police Department Lt. Travis Koltiska said. There is no indication he was attempting to shoot at anyone, although he was firing in random directions from his porch, according to a neighbor who witnessed the event. The home is near the corner of West Ninth Street and Spaulding Street, roughly four blocks from the police department.
