Educators, students and community members protest legislation in the Wyoming Senate Saturday on Main Street in Sheridan. The protest was organized by members of Real Resistance Wyoming in response to Senate Joint Resolution SJ0009, co-sponsored by Sen. Dave Kinskey, R-Sheridan, which proposes an amendment that would prohibit the courts to rule on funding for public schools beyond what the legislature would determine necessary. The amendment is seen by the protestors as a threat to funding for Wyoming’s public education.Justin Sheely | The Sheridan Press
