Nearly 30 friends and family came to walk for Wyatt Reed, who died at age 17 on Aug. 7, 2015. “It never gets easier.” Reed’s mother Veronica Reed said. “But having family and friends helps you get through.” The event is held annually in Sheridan and across the nation by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The walk benefits the AFSP and promotes awareness for suicide prevention and to destigmatize seeking mental help.
