Firefighters pull out a student from one of the wrecked vehicles during the Last Call Demonstration Wednesday at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. Tongue River seniors Sierra McCoy and Kylee Knobloch organized the demonstration for their FCCLA project. Students from Big Horn and Tongue River high schools participated in role playing a scenario of students driving after an underage drinking party collides head-on with another vehicle full of students returning home from a day hiking in the Tongue River Canyon. The scenario was to graphically demonstrate to the student body from Big Horn and Tongue River high schools, the consequences of drunken and distracted driving. Sheridan Fire-Rescue helped organized the demonstration. Agencies in the demonstration included Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, Big Horn and Tongue River Fire Districts, Rocky Mountain Ambulance, Sheridan Police Department and Wyoming Highway Patrol.
