Children throw their paper airplanes during the last Tidbit Tuesday of the season at the Sheridan County Museum. Pictured in front, from left: Alana Mowry, Aurora Rasmussen, Ruby Szwec, Jasmine Beasley and Keegan Reager. The group learned about the experiences of children during World War I and how civilians were involved in the war effort at home. The children were taught how to make paper airplanes during the craft activity after learning about Charles Schulz’s “Snoppy vs the Red Baron,” which was influenced by music and pop culture of a generation that still had the experiences of WWI in the public conscience. The museum will move their Tidbit educational events to every third Saturday of the month in the fall.
