Employees of First Federal Savings Bank react as dozens of gallons of ice water spill over them for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Wednesday evening at the downtown Sheridan First Federal Savings Bank drive through location. In front, from left, Dayna Dewey, Emily Nelson, Tammy Germann, Sandy Sanderson, and Tara Keep with her five-year-old daughter Finley Keep. Several employees of the bank took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge this week when their Senior Vice President Kay Roush challenged her coworkers after taking the challenge herself earlier this week. The members of the bank also honored their late coworker Margaret Gibson, who died last may from ALS. The #alsicebucketchallenge has become a social media phenomenon for spreading awareness about Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease," and to raise support for the ALS Association. Those who have been challenged have 24 hours to either accept and dump ice water over their heads and challenge three other people, or donate to the ALS Association, or both. Those who took the challenge at First Federal Wednesday night challenged their friends and family; they also challenged all of the financial institutions in Sheridan.
